Absolutely fascinating! Love the way you storytell.

There's a lot for us to take in order to better understand our behavior as a social species. At the end of it all, there are evolutionary forces that drive us in powerful ways.

During times of perceived or real survival threats, we get anxious and regress emotionally. Intergroup tensions rise. We want to band with our own in order to fight with and for our own.

I'm reminded of Darwin's studies of the ground finches in the Galapagos and their social behavior during times of abundance versus times of famine. Would love to read a piece from you on that!
